Thomas Kline, EdD, will join Adelphi University's Executive Leadership team as vice president of ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥advancement and external relations beginning November 1. Dr. Kline is currently vice president for institutional advancement at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he has served in several roles since 2013.

As the nation approaches the 20th anniversary of September 11, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City commemorates and honors those killed in the terrorist attacks of that day—as well as the earlier terrorist truck bomb attack that occurred on February 26, 1993—and the survivors and first responders, and recognizes the many ways in which the world came together in the aftermath.

On September 11, 2001, a 27-year-old management associate with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey went to his office on the 86th floor of One World Trade Center. When the building was hit shortly after, he led several coworkers to safety.
