Now that the Panthers’ Den Dining Hall has been open for a full school week, we are pleased to report that the community’s overall feedback has been positive. We have heard that you enjoy the temporary dining hall’s atmosphere, location, service and many of the options being served. Â

We know that this has been a much-anticipated announcement and are pleased to report that the Panthers' Den Dining Hall has now completed all its required steps to formally open as one of our two main dining halls on campus during the renovation of our Ruth S. Harley ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Center.

CategoriesPublished:In response to feedback from our community, the lunch menu at the tent in The Quad will feature new options and more vegetables this week. As always, there is a vegan option available daily Monday through Friday and gluten free buns and bread are available. Lunch in the tent is free for students all week (Monday through Friday) and free for faculty and staff on Friday.

With Commencement rapidly approaching, it will soon be time to close the Ruth S. Harley ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Center for major renovations that will convert the building into a state-of-the-art, light-filled center for student and academic life at Adelphi.

Food insecurity can be found anywhere—even on a college campus. As the new academic year begins, Adelphi ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥has opened the Panther Pantry, a vital step to help members of our community dealing with food insecurity.

Adelphi learned in June that we will receive a $5 million Higher Education Capital (HECap) Matching Grant from New York State to help finance the renovation of the Ruth S. Harley ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Center.
